1948
Wilfred Eric Hurst - Painter & Decorator. Wilfred is married to Daisy and they have two daughters, Jenny & Judith. Their son, James, will follow in 1952.

(Wilfred's Daughter, Judith Simmons, writes: "My Father Wilfred was a Rigger in the Royal Navy, but had to take on odd jobs such as painting and decorating in the early years after the war.  He later became employed by Cooper & Denny, but continued his odd jobs of painting for friends and the occasional beach hut."
